Jason Kelce shares his hilarious reaction to the Lookalike contest

Jason Kelce is seeing double!

The former Philadelphia Eagles center, 37, watched a Jason Kelce lookalike game while appearing on ESPN’s Countdown on Monday evening on December 16 – but he wasn’t too impressed with the turnout or the result!

“Newsflash! Every overweight white guy with a beard looks just like me,” the football star said as he watched a clip of the participants who came to Rittenhouse Square Park in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 14.

“It’s an easy competition. There is absolutely nothing unique about these gentlemen, other than the fact that they are big people with beards,” said the star – who was suited and well-dressed for his TV appearance.

One of the bearded participants, wearing a Fairisle zip-up, did catch the attention of the former centre. “That guy is just right,” he told host Scott Van Pelt. “That’s my new profile picture.”

And Kelce is as good as his word, as his profile photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) has been updated with a photo of the gentleman in question.

The game featured men in Philadelphia Eagles football jerseys and baseball caps or Kelce’s signature Fairisle jerseys and flip flops. Many of the Kelce wannabes also chose to perform the former NFL star’s favorite move: taking off his shirt, much to the amusement of Kelce and the panel.

“Sometimes when you’re enjoying a few drinks and it’s cold outside…” Kelce explained his topless antics.

However, the sports star and the panel unanimously disagreed on the winner of the competition, with Kelce revealing he would have crowned ‘the jersey man’ the winner.

Later in the show, Kelce joked about how “disheartening” it was to know that ‘thousands’ of people look just like him!

Meanwhile, Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce gave participants tips on channeling Jason during the second episode of her new podcast I’m not gonna lie which landed on Thursday, December 12.

And it seems many of the participants listened to her advice to wear “a chunky sweater” with “some design.” The pregnant star, 32, also hinted that velor tracksuits with the Italian flag would be a hit.

“I can’t wait to see who wins,” Kylie – who is expecting a fourth daughter with Jason – added.
